Day 3 [30 Days of Reinvention]

Reflecting on making my world bigger has been interesting today.

Moving has certainly done that on the personal side – nothing like being a new city to make you go and check things out & meet new people along the way. I even got inducted into the Denver Elks Lodge – didn’t see that coming!

Last year I decided I wanted to travel more for work, and since then I’ve been to NYC 4x, LA 2x, Texas 1x, and back to SF 1x. I started actively networking again for the first time in years, and have ramped up my writing, producing 3 ebooks this year. I’m realizing as I write this that my overall world has gotten bigger & I’m liking it!

So how does this idea of thinking bigger relate to my 30-day reinvention topic of money? It’s making it easy to see that I’m playing too small, and dumbing down my dreams.

To demonstrate this bigger thinking in physical reality today, I’m going to say no to a pricey project I’ve been paying into for 7 months + ask for a refund. Then, I’m going to say yes to an offer to get a drink with a friend at a cute new place she wants to check out.

Here’s to my world getting bigger, in all the right ways.
