Stillness & Freedom
There’s a stillness in the air, a stillness that’s not normally present. Of course, this is a forced stillness, unanticipated and unprecedented, yet nonetheless, here you are.
This can be frightening, to be sure. It can also be freeing.
The normal busyness of life makes it tricky to drink in what’s around you, to feel the silence. Yet the stillness draws you in and grants you courage, strength, inventiveness, boldness, solidarity. And freedom. Lots and lots of freedom.
Freedom to explore things you wouldn’t otherwise explore.
Freedom to wedge into the openings that present themselves.
Freedom to go to the internal places you avoid because you don’t have the time, bandwidth, or motivation.
With the stillness as your guide, give yourself permission to be led and see what wondrous things unfold.
